Summary
Alex tells her new fiancé that her family is dead, but then travels to South Carolina to serve as her sister Jeannie's bridesmaid. A rumor spreads at the wedding that Alex is gay. When her family is surprisingly supportive, Alex decides to play along. She feels this is easier than telling them about her Jewish African American man. When Jeannie comes to visit Alex in New York and Alex has to prove that she's a lesbian, things really start to get out of hand
