- Summary
- As the tenth season begins, a touring USO show brings much needed laughter to the 4077. But it isn't enough to prevent Hawkeye from writing a letter to President Truman telling him to stop the war or from being outraged when a war correspondent files false stories glorifying the war. Margaret's big birthday plans are ruined yet again when her jeep breaks down on the way to the airport, and Klinger thinks he's losing his mind when he has a conversation with a dead soldier. For B.J., it's total humiliation after he learns that his wife is working in a coffee shop in order to pay the second mortgage. For Colonel Potter, his biggest worry is that he is losing his touch in the OR, while Major Winchester is losing patience with his two messy bunkmates. Even the joy of payday is ruined when Klinger's new pet goat eats the company payroll
