Summary
Welcome to Japan. Students begin their journey in the capital city of Tokyo, where they will attend a traditional festival. Next, students will ride the famous bullet train rail system, Shinkansen, and see Mount Fuji on their way to the town of Kamakura to visit an ancient Buddhist temple. Throughout the program, students will learn about some of the cultural traditions, history, climate and politics of Japan, including how the emperor was once considered a living god. After dining on sushi, students will travel back to downtown Tokyo for a glimpse of the Imperial Palace and a chance to play video games in one of the city's massive arcades
