Summary
Wisconsin World War II veterans remember the war years, the Wisconsin people who were lost, coming home and the adjustment to civilian life, changes in society, and working to build a future. Archival film footage showing end-of-war events and early post-war conditions is interspersed with the contemporary footage of comments from veterans. An honor roll of the names of the 8432 Wisconsin men and women who did not return from World War II follows the program
