Summary
A self-described rolling stone, Tessa Harlow leads hiking tours for adventurous vacationers. When a freak injury during a trip that has already had its share of tragedy forces her to take a break, she heads to the mountains of Los Ladronas, New Mexico, to research a possible future tour. She has no clue that it is there, in very hip Los Ladrones, that she will embark on the adventure of her life. Shortly after arriving, Tessa begins to have ominous nightmares -- or could they be memories? Though she remembers nothing from her early childhood, she knows without a doubt that Los Ladronas beckons -- that the secrets to her past lie buried in this place. As she begins to unravel the scars of her childhood, she meets Vince Grasso, father of three, including an eight-year-old girl who is as lost as Tessa is herself. With the help of Vince and his brood, and the denizens of Los Ladrones, Tessa Harlow may finally find her way home
