A summary record of cases before the Municipal Court for the City of Oshkosh and Winnebago County involving violations of city and county ordinances. The volumes list names of defendants, complaining witnesses, attorneys, and the presiding judge. Records of proceedings including complaints, warrants, appearances before the court, pleadings, and verdicts or judgments. For each case there is a list of expenses such as penalties, officer's fees, judge's fees, jail fees, jury fees, witness fees, court costs, subpoena fees, and totals. Violations usually involved either drunkenness, traffic violations, or disorderly conduct. The middle of volume 3 includes a 1905 life insurance company advert. Entries are arranged chronologically by date filed. In some volumes an alphabetical name index with corresponding file numbers is included. After the last entry in No. 2 is a note stating: All subsequent County cases entered only in minute books, in same manner and form as City of Oshkosh Ordinance cases are recorded
