Court records from the Juvenile Branch, Municipal Court for City of Oshkosh and Winnebago County. The volumes consist of juvenile files that include the following: a chronological summary of each case, the complaint, names of attorneys and the presiding judge, court hearing details, details regarding the court summons, orders of disposition, and names of the parents and children involved in each case and their home addresses. The records often note the various institutions children were sent to in the state, and until what age they were to stay there, unless they were to be discharged early or transferred to another school. Institutions named include St. Joseph's Orphanage at Green Bay, Wisconsin Industrial School for Boys in Waukesha, Wisconsin Industrial School for Girls in Milwaukee, State Public School for Dependent and Neglected Children at Sparta, Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother in Marshfield, the Wisconsin Children's Home Society, House of the Good Sheperd of Milwaukee, Saint Charles Boys Home in Wauwatosa, and the Evangelical Lutheran Kinderfreund Society of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. Volumes 4-5 also include officer's fees. At the beginning of each volume there is an alphabetical name index with the corresponding file number
